Know when your website goes down before your customers do.
A standalone Python monitoring toolkit that continuously checks website uptime, response latency, SSL certificate expiry, DNS resolution, and page content. When a service breaks, it delivers an instant incident alert straight to your Telegram phone screen, followed by a celebratory recovery notice the second it comes back.
The most dangerous website outage is the one nobody in the business notices.
Websites rarely break with advance warning. An upstream proxy drops out, an SSL certificate expires at midnight, or a database query silently freezes the checkout page. If you rely on prospective customers to tell you your site is broken, you have already lost those sales.
Silent Gateway & Proxy Drops
Your server process looks active, but the reverse proxy or gateway drops customer transactions with zero advance notice.
Lapsed Security Certificates
When an SSL certificate lapses, browsers flash a full-screen red security hazard banner, destroying customer confidence before they read a single line.
False Health Behind Green Status Pages
When application workers die, generic port pings can still return HTTP 200 on an error screen. Direct endpoint inspection validates actual HTML contents so false positives do not mask downtime.
Five real checks. Zero third-party packages.
Five checks (HTTP and response time, SSL expiry, domain expiry, DNS, content) plus checking up to 10 sites in parallel. Every check runs directly with Python 3.10+ standard library modules. No Node.js runtime, no Chromium browser downloads. No AI. Rules you can read.
HTTP Uptime & Round-Trip Response Time
Polls your endpoints and compares status codes against your expected value (e.g. 200 OK vs 4xx/5xx). Accurately measures round-trip response time (TCP connection + TLS handshake + initial response header arrival) and flags sudden latency degradation before users bounce.
SSL Certificate Expiry Inspection
Performs a direct TLS socket handshake to inspect certificate validity and remaining lifespan. Alerts you 14 days before expiration so you renew before browsers block your visitors.
Domain Expiry via RDAP
Queries official RDAP endpoints for renewal dates. Tested and verified on .com, .org, .in, and .co.in. Caches registry responses for 24 hours to prevent rate limits. Other registries vary; unsupported registries fall back gracefully without false alarms.
DNS Hostname Resolution
Confirms that your domain resolves to a reachable IP address via system resolvers. Immediately detects DNS lookup failures, misconfigured nameservers, or broken domain routing.
Expected & Forbidden Content Checks
Scans up to 1MB of the response body. Verifies that critical page markers (such as your brand name or checkout container) are present, and alerts you if fatal error strings appear in the HTML.
Parallel Multi-Target Monitoring
Monitors up to 10 websites or endpoints in parallel from your configuration file (sites.json). Executes checks with bounded thread concurrency, which helps prevent slow targets from delaying other checks.
“A silent 502 error at 2 AM shouldn't have to wait for your morning customer support queue to discover it.”
How incidents and recovery work
Built to keep you immediately informed when a site breaks, while preventing notification fatigue during ongoing repairs.
Probe detects failure
Status code mismatch, latency spike, missing content, or expired certificate detected.
Atomic persistence
Writes incident details atomically to state.json. No database required.
Instant Telegram push
Direct alert sent to your Telegram phone app with target name, status code, and latency.
Smart 4-hour cooldown
Subsequent checks recognize the active incident and help prevent notification fatigue while you investigate.
Celebratory recovery
When the target passes again, sends a recovery ping with total outage duration and daily stats.
See it run in production
Clean CLI execution, structured JSON payloads, and instant Telegram dispatches — with zero third-party dependencies.

Technical specifications and recommendations
We believe in complete transparency before you purchase. Here is exactly what the software requires and how it operates.
Single-Location Probe
Single-location probe: Performs checks from the local server's network perspective (not a multi-region global CDN network). It is not a distributed multi-edge mesh; latency figures reflect network paths from your hosting server.
Telegram Bot Privacy & Ownership
You create your own bot. Sanocea stores its token only to send your alerts. You can revoke it any time in BotFather.
Check Intervals & Scheduling
The Python script executes a single inspection run and exits cleanly. For self-hosted users, you configure the run frequency via cron or systemd timers (e.g. every 5 minutes). For managed hosting (waitlist open), checks will run on Sanocea's servers at your chosen interval (5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes). Intervals under 1 minute are not supported to prevent destination web servers from rate-limiting requests.
Covered by Automated Tests
The complete codebase is covered by an automated test suite verifying HTTP checks, latency bounds, TLS parsing, DNS lookups, RDAP parsing, atomic state updates, and Telegram payload dispatch in isolated environments.
How M06 compares for up to 10 sites
Hosted tools include dashboards, status pages and multi-location checks. M06 is a single-location tool with Telegram alerts.
| Option | Sites Monitored | Published Pricing | Deployment & Hosting | Scope & Disclosures |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sanocea Self-Hosted | Checks up to 10 sites in parallel | ₹500 one-time | Your own machine or VPS (typical $4–$6/month, or free if you already have one) | Five checks (HTTP/latency, SSL expiry, RDAP domain expiry, DNS, content). Alerts to Telegram. Perpetual license to run and modify the code for your own websites. |
| Sanocea Managed | Up to 10 sites | Coming Soon / Waitlist | Runs on Sanocea's servers. You choose the check interval: 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. | Infrastructure expansion in progress. Email hello@sanocea.com to join early access waitlist. |
| Oh Dear (Freelance) | Up to 10 sites | €49/month (or €490/year) as of 14 Oct 2026 | Hosted SaaS infrastructure | Includes multi-location uptime, SSL certificate health & expiry, DNS checks, broken link crawler, cron monitoring, and public status pages. |
| UptimeRobot (Solo) | 10 monitors | from €10/month (or from €9/month billed annually) as of 14 Oct 2026 | Hosted SaaS infrastructure | Includes 60-second checks, multi-location monitoring, SSL and domain expiry, DNS monitoring, 3 status pages, and Telegram integration. |
| UptimeRobot (Free) | 50 monitors | €0/month (Free) as of 14 Oct 2026 | Hosted SaaS infrastructure | Includes 5-minute HTTP/port/ping checks and 1 basic status page. Lacks SSL certificate expiry, domain expiry, DNS checks, multi-location checks, and Telegram alerts. |
Free plans are a good start for basic uptime pings. M06 adds SSL, domain and DNS expiry checks with Telegram alerts, set up with you.
UptimeRobot counts monitors; one site may use several. Sanocea counts sites, with all five checks per site.
Frequently asked questions
What is the exact difference between Self-Hosted and Managed Hosting?
With Self-Hosted (₹500 one-time), you receive the complete software package and run it on your own server, VPS, or computer using cron. There are zero recurring fees. With Managed Hosting, Sanocea will run the script on Sanocea's servers for you. Managed hosting is currently in waitlist as infrastructure expands; email hello@sanocea.com for early access. When available, if you ever cancel managed hosting, you keep the code and can switch to self-hosting anytime.
Can I monitor multiple websites from one installation?
Yes. You can configure up to 10 websites or API endpoints in sites.json. Each target can specify custom timeout thresholds, expected status codes, latency limits, and forbidden content strings.
Are there any third-party pip dependencies to install?
None. The toolkit runs on standard Python 3.10+ using only built-in standard library modules. You do not need to manage virtual environments or install packages with pip.
Does the monitor promise 24/7 uptime SLAs or guarantees?
No. We do not make commercial SLA or uptime promises. The toolkit performs honest, periodic checks at your configured schedule and reports what it finds.
